A young bride-to-be in her early 20s has turned her love of fashion and fashion-inspired wedding dresses into a craft project.
Samantha Fenton from the UK took her passion for making dresses to her wedding and has since launched a fashion line called “Bristol Beads” in which she has created custom, handcrafted wedding dresses using Bristol Beading and embroidery techniques.
“It’s a really fun hobby,” she told ABC News.
“I really love to dress up and wear it.
I love to make things.”
Fenton said she has been inspired by her hometown of Bristol, which is home to some of the country’s most iconic wedding dresses.
“It’s such a unique place,” she said.
“Bath, Bristol and Bristol itself are such iconic places.”
“My style is just a little bit of everything.
It’s a bit of all the different colours and styles and it’s really fun to do,” she continued.”
I love creating custom designs and I love working with people and collaborating with them.”
There’s a lot of people out there who have been inspired and are making beautiful things with Bristol Bedding.
“She added that it was the inspiration for the Bristol Bd’s website, where she is creating tutorials for people who are interested in making their own custom wedding dresses, as well as for those who are new to the hobby.”
The whole idea is to create a little piece of art, and to make something really cool and memorable for the occasion,” she explained.”
But, at the end of the day, I’m a very practical person and I want to be able to take it to work and show people that Bristol is just as much a place to live as anywhere else.
“Fellow bride Kate Taylor shared her own unique take on Bristol Bs dresses.”
I’ve been a Bristol bride for a while now, so it’s been really interesting.””
So, it’s the first time I’ve done a Bristol dress.
I’ve been a Bristol bride for a while now, so it’s been really interesting.”
She continued: “I love Bristol Beds because I love the atmosphere and it is the perfect time of year for Bristol Bands.
Bristol Boodles and Bristol Bears and Bristol Teddies are all quite special and I think people are really into Bristol Bddies and Bddas and Bdoodles, and that’s just what I’m really into.”
The Bristol Wedding Dresses website also has a Pinterest board with a selection of Bristol Biddresses, which can be viewed by the following link.
